ECC asked me to model for a campaign to promote the opening of a new school in Sakae. They're merging the two existing Sakae schools and moving to the 6th floor of Lachic mall. As of tomorrow, my face will be plastered all over the station (or so I was told) but you can preview it already on the website. Apparently they are also using the image at a station in Tokyo, but I'm assuming for a different campaign. A two-hour Shinkansen ride would be a pretty long commute just to take my lesson. I'll update with obligatory me-standing-next-to-a-poster-of-myself photos in a few days, and perhaps find someone to translate the "quote" that I never said.

hello, i stumbled across your blog by reading a comment you left on josiah roe's site. i went to college with him. i lived in china this past year teaching english at a university and am quite interested in going to japan next. i'd love to study photography there. i'm especcially drawn to the funky, quirky, kitschy-ness of asian culture. check out portraits i did of chinese people on my flickr site if you like.....www.flickr.com/photos/braehoward
And if you have any clue at all about how to pursue photography there, i wouldn't mind a suggestion.
Wow, you are famous. Sarah and I find out tomorrow the sex of our baby that's due in January.
So what's up with u?
